25/11: Christmas party
That's it, no last Amadeus Christmas party for me. I've been sick since Sunday and it ain't no fun :o(Today the doctor ordered a quiet weekend at home, which I guess is a whole lot easier now that Pia and Kasper has left - man, that kid never sits still for more than 1 minute at a time.
But lot's of fun having both of them here, next time will meet it'll be in snowy Denmark.
21/11: Another weekend gone by
This weekend we went to the beach, Shelly again - and yes I went for another dive. This time with Jesper and we had a couple of good dives. The viz slightly better than last week, but still far from normal. Water temp had risen to 19 so it?s getting warmer :o)Sunday we were up early to go north. First stop was the reptile park close to Gosford, where we had a close look at the snakes, spiders, koalas, kangaroos and especially the crocks. Next stop was Hunter Valley ? maybe not the most exciting for Kasper but he endured and Tina and Pia seemed to enjoy it (I was driving?.note to myself ? have someone else to drive next time).
14/11: A380
The A380 left Sydney airport today to fly to Melbourne. I saw it take off from my view towards the airport....now I just need to wait a year or two to try and fly with it :o)14/11: G'day and farewell
Friday Pia and Kasper arrived - it's truly amazing how much energy a 6 year old jetlagged kid can have. We spent Saturday walking down to Barry Island and did the forrest walk back up to the station, had icecream and coffee at Crows Nest and a BBQ in the evening. By then Pia especially looked a bit tired :o)Sunday was a beach day and farewell to some good friends. I went diving with Phill, Chan and Paul who are all leaving within the next week...what a pity, right now when the weather and water starts to warm up. Not the greatest viz on Shelly, however, saw some nice big Morays and couple of Wobbys, several octopus and nudis.
Today is Monday and I'm back at work :o|
11/11: Back on Shelly
Going from 27 to 16 degrees water is not all fun. Yesterday it was back on Shelly with Phil and his mate, and the water was freezing - never the less it still lasted 56 minutes - the viz was about 2m so why all this diving??? makes you wonder.09/11: Ha ha...pictures working again....
Not quite the way I want but good enough for now.JP Morgan run is on tonight, so I probably won't be able to walk tomorrow :-D
08/11: Minor problem with the pictures
Eventhough you don't see the picture in the plain text, just klik on the link and a larger picture will pop up. I'll try and solve this one of the coming days.06/11: Back from the sandy island
So how cool is Fraser Island :o) Despite rain, a hell of a night caused by lousy camping equipment we had a great weekend at Fraser. A few pictures from our trip is already posted...however text is as ususal in Danish :o)After arriving back in Sydney airport we grapped a taxi and went directly to BBQ at S?rens place....big question is he and Angela moving to Denmark???
03/11: Resigned
Finally resigned officially from work. Last day is 31 Jan, with all of Jan off as vacation :o)Tomorrow it's off to Fraser Island, just Tina and me for a couple of days.....nice.
02/11: Back from the big sea
It all started Saturday 22 October, where we flew to Cairns with Vivi and Leif (Tinas parents). We hired a car and drowe directly Port Dougles where we spent our first night at the ???hmmm.Well, we had some good time up there, went on up to Cape Tribulation and Mossman Gorge, and we were back in Cairns by Sunday evening - where we ate at our 'usual' place La Fettucina.
Monday was all day spent at sea, snorkling and eating on the Great Barrier Reef. Then it was time for me to head off to a new adventure onboard Spoil Sport....
